Jared Chontos is a Texas-based drum educator & content creator. Jared began playing drums at age 9, and studied drums privately with top instructors. He graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Music (drum set emphasis), and is a 2X Nashville Guitar Center Drum-Off Store Champ. In 2015, Jared won the Nashville store AND the Nashville district to become one of the top 30 finalists nationwide.
Jared’s broad skill set and warm personality have made him a sought-after instructor in the North Dallas area. In addition to his full-time schedule teaching private lessons, Jared has also carved out a name for himself online. You may know him as @ChontosDrumLessons from Instagram, where he has nearly 60,000 followers. Additionally, Jared’s YouTube channel boasts more than 8,000 subscribers and 1.3 million total views.
